Manual tool vs automation

One label is free. Daily labels should be automatic.

This page creates the quick win. LabelChop handles the annoying part every day: watching your folder, cropping the PDF and sending it to the right printer.

  • Free converter for one-off A4 label cropping
  • LabelChop for daily shipping-label PDF automation
  • Works with Dymo, Zebra, Munbyn, Rollo and Brother

Upload PDF, crop to 4×6, download

Start with top-left crop for labels placed in a page corner. If the label is centred on the page, switch to centered crop and try again.

Upload your A4 shipping label PDF

Works best with carrier and marketplace labels exported on A4 or Letter pages, including MyPost, Australia Post, eBay, Etsy and Shopify PDFs.

What this tool does

This free tool takes an A4 or Letter shipping-label PDF and outputs a smaller 4x6 / 100x150mm PDF for thermal label printers. It is built for the common problem where a carrier, marketplace or shipping tool gives you a full-page PDF but your printer needs a label-sized file.

It is useful when you only need to convert a few labels, test a new thermal printer or fix a label that would otherwise waste a full A4 sheet.

Who it is for

The converter is for ecommerce sellers, marketplace sellers and home-fulfilment setups using 4x6 or 100x150mm thermal label printers.

Shopify, eBay and Etsy sellers
Carrier PDFs from MyPost, USPS, Royal Mail and more
Small warehouses and home offices
Marketplace sellers with awkward label downloads
Thermal-printer users moving from A4 or Letter PDFs
Anyone fixing label size and crop problems manually

Supported label types

  • A4 and Letter carrier label PDFs
  • Marketplace labels from eBay, Etsy and Shopify workflows
  • MyPost Business and Australia Post labels
  • USPS, Royal Mail, Sendle, Aramex and other carrier PDFs
  • Existing labels that need 4x6 / 100x150mm thermal output
  • One-off label PDFs from shipping tools and order platforms

If your label is already a 4x6 PDF, you usually do not need to crop it. Just print it using the correct 100x150mm page size.

How it works

  1. Upload your A4 shipping label PDF.
  2. Choose top-left or centered crop.
  3. Download the new 4x6 PDF.
  4. Print it using 4x6 inch or 100x150mm paper size.

For labels placed in a page corner, top-left is usually the right setting. If the output cuts off the label, try centered crop.

Common printer issues

If the label prints too small, too large or off-centre, check the print dialog before blaming the PDF. The most common fix is choosing 4x6 inches or 100x150mm as the paper size, then setting scale to 100 percent.

Thermal printers also need the correct stock loaded. A 4x6 PDF will not print cleanly if the printer is configured for a smaller label roll.

Manual tool vs LabelChop automation

This converter is intentionally simple. It helps with one PDF at a time. LabelChop is for sellers who download labels every day and want the process removed completely.

Want this done automatically every time you download a label?

LabelChop watches your Downloads folder, detects awkward shipping-label PDFs, crops/resizes them and sends them straight to your thermal printer.

FAQ

Can I convert A4 or Letter shipping labels to 4x6 for free?

Yes. Upload your A4 PDF, choose the crop position, then download a 4x6 PDF you can print on a 100x150mm thermal printer.

Does this replace LabelChop?

No. This free tool is for one-off conversions. LabelChop is for sellers who want every downloaded label cropped and printed automatically.

What paper size should I choose when printing?

Choose 4x6 inches or 100x150mm in your printer settings. Use actual thermal label stock, not A4 paper.

Does the tool store my PDF?

No. The tool processes the uploaded PDF to return a converted file and does not save your PDF. If you unlock extra free conversions, your email is saved so we can send the thermal printer setup checklist and follow up about LabelChop.
