Size, scale and margins decide most print failures
A clean thermal shipping label needs the PDF page, printer paper preset, physical stock and scale setting to agree. A4 and Letter labels usually need cropping or conversion before they reach a 4x6 or 100x150mm printer. A true 4x6 PDF usually needs Actual Size or 100 percent scale.
